Bella French is a certified Vinyasa yoga instructor. She has been studying yoga for more than 30 years with top yoga instructors in the U.S., and has been teaching a devoted following of students since 2016. She is certified with the National Yoga Alliance completing her RYT 200, in addition to a certificate course with Duke Integrative Medicine focusing on safe and effective yoga for adults. She has enhanced her training with yoga immersions and training in India. Her gentle approach and caring nature will encourage and support you, while challenging you to move safely and at your own pace.

Bella has witnessed firsthand how yoga supports us on three levels -- the body, mind and spirit. Combining yoga poses (asanas) with breathing techniques (pranayama) with the goal of a healthy body and a clear, calm mind, Bella’s students gain flexibility, strength, balance and clarity. Bella teaches Vinyasa, Slow Flow, Hatha Yoga, Yoga Nidra and Hot Yoga. She is also available for private sessions.


I have been practicing yoga for over 45 years and have had the good fortune to study with many famous teachers. Lately I started taking Bella’s classes and I find her to be a remarkably gifted teacher. Her instructions are clear and simple, avoiding the use of jargon and always giving tips on posture and other details. She has such a friendly non-judgmental manner and is always delighted to explore alternative movements when osteo-arthritis or climbing injuries prevent me from doing some traditional poses.
